Welcome!

We all embark on the journey of life at the same starting point. We travel down the road before us, carving out a path of experiences, memories, and adventures.

However, there are times when that path leads us into a season with sharp edges and dark corners which leaves emotional wounds. These wounds can often heal on their own but sometimes they may need someone like me to assist you in the healing.

So what happens if these emotional wounds go untreated?

Emotional wounds develop into learn patterns of behavior unconsciously throughout our life, and continue them until they no longer serve us. Our symptoms are most often adaptations to what we have experienced; they help us to survive and protect us from our internal pain but over time these patterns can create more suffering and perpetuate cycles of stress and shame that serve to keep the symptoms alive. Together we can work to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.

"Even in times of trauma, we try to maintain a sense of normality until we no longer can. That, my friends, is called surviving. Not healing. We never become whole again ... we are survivors. If you are here today... you are a survivor. But those of us who have made it thru hell and are still standing? We bear a different name: warriors."
~Lori Goodwin
